STONE and BRONZE SCULPTURES by Bay Area-based American artist DOUG THIELSCHER to be showcased by PROJECT ZOLA at the 29th Annual LA Art Show, February 14-18, 2024.

Thielscher is an American sculptor deeply committed to the rich traditions of classical sculpture. Inspired by the history of stone sculpture, particularly the traditions of the Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, and Italian Renaissance sculptors, Thielscher grapples with the challenge of honoring this ancient craft while infusing it with new and authentic expressions.
